People of Africa
Photographing people is where it all started for me. At first it was happy snaps of escapades with school friends but it soon developed into a genuine interest in capturing the character of my human subjects which in hindsight is probably what led me to study photojournalism. Over the years this interest has evolved and matured to the point where my main focus is the portrayal of authentic humanity. Most of the images within this collection are of tribal people in remote corners of Africa, the reason being that these are some of the most raw, undiluted cultures left on Earth.
