A lone lioness strides across the open plains of the Maasai Mara, Kenya. 3 weeks had passed since she had last been seen with the pride. She was heavily pregnant so we knew that in all likelihood she had moved away to give birth and would keep her cubs hiden for a month or so, maybe more. On this beautiful late afternoon we simply happened to stumble upon her as she looked to relocate the rest of the pride.

The sizes given below are for the longest side of the print.
