Conservation Photography

Visual Storytelling for Wild Places and the People who Protect them

Why Conservation Photography?

Africa's wilderness areas are under growing pressure from habitat loss, climate change, poaching and underfunded protection efforts. Conservation work is happening every day, often in remote places and under challenging conditions, but much of it goes unseen and unsupported.

That’s where photography matters. A single image has the power to connect people to a place they've never been and a cause they might otherwise never have known. But to be effective those images need to be truthful, compelling and rooted in the reality of conservation work.

As a conservation photographer I document the people and projects working to protect Africa’s most threatened ecosystems and species. From ranger patrols and rhino translocations to community outreach and habitat restoration, I focus on capturing images that help raise awareness, unlock funding and build long-term support for the people and organisations driving real conservation impact.

Legacy Projects

Your Impact Remembered

Conservation is often supported quietly, through funding, influence or long-term commitment but these contributions deserve to be recognised and remembered.

A legacy commission is a bespoke visual storytelling package that documents the impact of your support. Whether you’ve helped protect a landscape, fund a species recovery or uplift a local community, I work closely with you and your conservation partners to capture the real-world outcomes of that investment. The result is a powerful, professionally curated body of work: photographs, coffee table books, videos and exhibitions, all that can be used to share your story with family, foundations and future donors or simply as a personal record of what you’ve helped make possible.

This is not promotional work. It’s reflective, respectful and focused on truth and impact. If you believe your conservation legacy should be more than a line item in an annual report then this offering is for you.

NGO Collaborations

From the Field to the World

I collaborate with conservation NGOs to create powerful and honest visual stories that support their mission and amplify their impact.

Whether it’s documenting fieldwork, species recovery programs or community initiatives, my role is to produce imagery that’s not just beautiful, but useful. These photographs help NGOs secure funding, report to donors, raise awareness and build long-term support.

I approach each project with respect for the people and ecosystems involved and work closely with the teams on the ground to ensure the story is told accurately and with integrity.

If you’re looking for images that reflect the reality of conservation with all of its challenges, achievements and human stories I can help you create visuals that resonate with funders, partners and the public alike.
