A lioness bathed in golden light in the Maasai Mara, Kenya. Lions spend over 20 hours a day sleeping and/or lying down which can make them difficult to photograph in an interesting way at the vast majority of sightings. I always look out for the brief moments where something in the scene, flowers in this case, can add a little interest.
