Impala and zebra graze together in an open plain at Malamala Game Reserve, South Africa. Mixed herds like this occur for 2 reasons; one is that although they are different species they are drawn to the same food source and the other is that more eyes and ears decreases the chances of a predator sneaking up on you unnoticed.
The measurements given below are for the longest side of the print.
