The Blues
A young cheetah feeling the blues in the last light of the day at Mashatu Game Reserve, Botswana. As one of 5 cubs he was already defying the odds as cheetah cub mortality is extremely high, especially in areas where lion, leopard and hyena are plentiful. Cheetahs are rated as Vulnerable by the IUCN with an estimate of roughly 7000 individuals alive in the wild.
